Until I see the Holy Land

20 years ago when I was in a college class, “Life and Teachings of Jesus”, God put a dream in my heart to one day visit the Holy Land to see with my own eyes the places that Jesus lived and walked. A little over a year ago I set a goal to live out 40 dreams and goals before I turned 40 years old. This dream was still a dream so I added it to that list. 

Thanks to a recent opportunity to go with a group from New Hope Church, I signed up and I’m going to the Holy Land ! On this trip I’m going to be able to see things like Caesarea, Mt. Carmel, the Sea of Galilee, Mt. of Beatitudes, Capernaum, Abraham’s Gates, Golan Heights, Nazareth, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, the Wailing Wall, the Garden Tomb, the Dead Sea, Mt. of Olives, Garden of Gethsemane, and so much more. Pastor Tim said that after being in the Holy Land, you will never read the Bible the same way. 

I know this is going to be a trip that affects me spiritually in ways I can’t even imagine yet. I humbly ask for your prayers for God to be preparing my heart before I go. Also pray that God will use this trip to make the Bible come even more alive to me and that it will help me pastor people more deeply. I took a step of obedience to go and fully trusted God to provide the finances. Through that faith and  extremely generous people, I'm humble to say my trip is FULLY FUNDED!
